LOVE LIKE THE MOVIES by Victoria Van Tiem

Kensington feels she has always come in second to any and every thing during her lifetime until she becomes engaged to her co-worker Bradley Connors at the ad agency of their current employment while seeking her mother’s approval yet again. Kensington is under pressure to create an advertisement layout for the agency’s latest client The Carriage House along with threats from her boss that her employment is in jeopardy on her performance to land the contract.

Everyone but Kensington including her fiancé Bradley knows who the high profile client is and has not given her a heads up until the presentation meeting at the office. Any problem that needs analyzing whether it is in the work place or personal, Kensington uses heroines from movie films she has seen in the past to decide what that character would do to handle the outcome and she has a few movie heroines to deal with her current problem. The new client is none other than the one man she loved in the past while attending college who abruptly left without any communication whom she has not spoken with in years and is now on her turf causing trouble with her and Bradley. Tonya her co-worker and friend from college toss a few monkey wrenches into the game leading to more chaos and confusion in an already highly volatile situation for everybody involved.

Love Like the Movies has a great storyline with twists and turns that will leave the reader a true romantic fan. Ms. Van Tiem brings into play main characters from romantic movie themes to correspond with the situations in the novel and utilizes them very well. I recommend to all romanticists and movie buffs looking for a fun and easy read on a lazy day weekend promising to bring out your romantic side you never knew was there.
